8 weeks!

parker was born 8 mondays ago!

so crazy!

its hard to think that 8 weeks ago we were waiting for parker 

and now we can't imagine life without him!

here's a quick look at this past week in picutres :)

i love how they depend on you, their parents, big brothers and sisters for everything

i even love when babies cry...mean, i know, but the squawking noise is

just so cute

now that i am a mom i still find all those thing cute and oh so lovable

but boy oh boy can parker melt my heart (and brandon's too)

from the way he curls up by my neck

to the way his lower lip slightly pouts out when he starts to get upset

i love it

i love it even more when he gets a new expression

and this week practically sent me over the edge

we were sitting on the couch...me looking at him, him looking at me

a pretty classic monday

he was looking pretty serious

and i had been sticking my tongue out at him 

(you know the game...stick your tongue out, pull it back in...over and over until the baby begins to stick out thier tongue...so fun)

i was just about to give up and i gave him a smile

he looked at me and very slowly

gave me the sweetest and biggest smile!

i then of course got all excited, kept smiling, saying do it again!

he looked at me like i was nuts.

but it was the best thing ever.

i love it.

and him :)

The Many Faces of Parker Louis

parker is getting more and more animated each day!

it's so fun and exciting to see him trying out new things!

parker has been awesome at sleeping, too! alothough as i write this i am still recoving from being woken up at 4...someone failed to fall back asleep after eating!

oh well...in general he has been averaging 5 to 6 hours of sleep in a row! which makes brandon and i very happy :)

 

fall is here

can't believe another week has gone by!

we have been keeping busy...

 football games, youth group, yard work, chilly mornings, stroller rides...fall is here!

 packer game on monday night...disppointing finish!

parker showed out his new screaming skills, weight gain and snuggles

fifth anniversary

this past saturday brandon and i celebrated

5 years!

i can't belive we have been married for 5 years already!

its been a wonderful 5 years and we are looking forward to

so many more together!

we celebrated with parker, ray and carissa.

we had chose to stay in so we could watch the u of m game...

unfortunately they didn't get the message 

and lost!

by the way this is my 100th post! wahoo!

One Month!

parker is one month!

he was one month on september 20!

i can hardly believe it!

he went to the doctor on his one month birthday and

did awesome!

he now weighs 8lbs 10 ounces and is 21.25 inches tall :)

home sweet home

we moved!

yup...parker joined us on the 20th and we official brought a house on the 30th!

so crazy! 

we moved into our new house labor day weekend with the help of lots of family and friends.

allysha and andy were in town and were a huge help!

along with many friends...we were able to clean and move all of our stuff in two days!

whew! i don't think i will never move again right after having a baby!

i don't recommend it ;)

we feel so blessed to find an awesome house!

it was super crazy but now that we are moved in it great to have a place to call home and 

to be able to share it with parker.

we had been looking for a new place for a while and found this house the last week of july.

since it was a short sale, we figured- perfect! it will take at least 6 months before we have an answer.

boy, were we wrong!

the day after we put in our offer the selling bank asked if we could close in 30 days! August 31!!

i was terrified that i would be in the labor and delivery room when we would need to sign closing papers...

thank you parker for coming early!

so we had parker, our bank got everything together and we closed on the 30th!

we got the keys on the 31st and started moving the next day!

brandon has already started and completed some home projects!

way to go!

he is now assuming the role of handy man...and i am sure there are more projects to come!

he already changed the door locks, fixed the bathroom window, installed carbon monoxide detectors,

buying a washer and dryer, killing spiders....

 welcome home!

4 weeks!

yesterday parker was 4 weeks old!

so hard to believe!

he is growing so fast...i can hardly believe it :)

we took some pictures in his room again to document his growth!

parker wasnt in the mood for taking photos...but is still pretty cute!

parker also had his first bath this week!!

Mr. Parker @ 2 weeks

well...here we are!

2 weeks ago we welcomed a beautiful baby boy into our family.

its hard to believe its already been two weeks!

we are defintely sleep deprived and completely in love with parker!

the last two weeks  have been a bit of a blur...

parker arrived

we moved! (more on this later)

my sister came to visit

and oh yeah we had a baby...

so here he is at two weeks!
