six months of cora grace.

oh sweet girl, we love you so much. life is so much more complete with you in it.

you are such a happy baby. you love watching and interacting with parker and madalyn. you love to screech and put your chubby fingers in parkers hair (he loves it too!). you are caucious with madelyn, as you should be, since she is often rough with you. lately the three of you are all talking/babbling/yelling/laughing in the car together...it's really quite fun and entertaining.

you are already starting solids (started at month 5) and are a champion eater! 

your first foods were avocados, oatmeal, prunes, applesauce and peas. a big fan of all except the applesauce!

you started rolling everywhere at 5 months. you'd start on a blanket and before we knew it you'd be in the front hall by the stairs!! You are pushing yourself backwards...hopefully forward movement is soon but not too soon!

one moment she was a helpless baby

and now she is a determined, silly little girl.

Ahh...technology difficulties! i've had these pictures on my camera for a month! madalyn turns one tomorrow but here are the 11 month pictures!

i know, i know. madalyn will be eleven months in just a few days. gulp. almost one :( where did the year go?

anyways, ten months. i tried really hard to get pictures but they just weren't working. but here are some fun ones from her tenth month of life!

oh madalyn! you are so sweet and spunky! you love love your brother. you love to crawl into his bedroom with your head swaying to wake him up from afternoon naps. you love to eat...a lot. you still only have two teeth but manage to eat a lot of solids. lots of veggies, fruit, quinoa, beans but no meat yet. you love to play chase and cars with parker. you like to hug big bird and then throw him. you are gentle yet rough. you moved into parker's room (into his closet) and are sleeping very well there. you still take two naps, one short in the morning and one longer one in the afternoon. you love when daddy comes home in the afternoon. the ipad and phones are your biggest motivator...you seem to find them even when up high. we love you, missy moo!

nine months.

how did this happen? how did our little baby turn into such a little person?

this past month was full of changes!

madalyn began to crawl! days after turning 8 months, she was moving forward and loving it. there is no stopping her now! she is into everything.
she love to yell and scream (its like a game for her and parker), loves to chew on the farm animals and other toys. madalyn still only has two teeth! she is totally capable of sleeping through the night but still likes to make sure everyone else is not sleeping too long ;)

height: 27 inches

loves: eating! chapping! waving! big brother parker, any toy she can bang or throw, loves to play with parker's toys (esp. if he is still napping!), story hour at the library, crawling very very quickly!

dislikes: being in the car a lot, avocado, mama or daddy walking away from her, being told hands off!
