weekend trips

this past weekend we drove out to richland to see

allysha and andy!

they just moved to richland for andy's new job! it was fun to see their cute apartment, richland and the surrounding towns (the tri-cities), and the riverwalk area.

we had a lot of fun exploring the area, eating burgers and cherries, visiting paseo (which is like visiting mexico!), walking along the river, watching hydroplanes...it was a fun packed day!

it was a lot of fun...plus it was sunny! thanks allysha and andy for a good time!

on sunday, we went to golden gardens with the JHYG.
sand, sun, hotdogs, s'mores, bocce ball...what could be better!

well, andy actually came to interview for a position in richland...

he is probably interviewing as we speak!

hooray!

so richland is just over 3 hours away so they decided to visit brandon and i and chris and melissa (andy's brother and sisiter-in-law)

it was great fun!

completed with fresh mini donuts, of course!

sunday dinner with all six of us...thanks bran!

tasty poached eggs, asparagus, proscuttio, and homemade croutons...yum!
