cannon beach.

this past weekend we headed out to cannon beach to spend some time with jerry and dotti! parker was sooo excited that he didnt fall asleep on our way there...staying up until after 10!

We arrived late thursday night, giving us a full weekend of relaxing and fun.

the weather wasnt awesome...lots of rain and wind but the temperature was warm so we manage to get out to the beach a ton!

it was such a great weekend. lots of food, hanging out, playing in the waves, watching football, playing games...we loved it! plus as a bonus going to the coast was on our bucket list for Seattle! hooray!

(the by way...dotti was totally there! the two pictures she was in that i took her eyes were closed :( )

well, i should say parker is.

today the library made many little boys (and girls) happy.

parker did many a happy dance.

fire fighters and fire trucks.

yup. came to story hour.

never thought i'd see a kid star stuck at such a young age.

 can hardly stop fake smiling...that's how geeked i am!

four months!

this month has been all about the rolling!

madalyn easily rolls from her back to tummy...she sticks that head up high to smile at you once she's rolled over. she's quite proud of her new talent...that is until she no long wants to be on her stomach ;)

she seems to be getting longer...however her legs are still chunky!

she loves to talk in the mornings, loves her brother, and loves to kick her legs!

she is very strong! in physical strength and will.

oh, and the smiles. madalyn just has some of the best smiles.

you have to work for them but they are pretty great!

seven years.

this monday brandon and i celebrated seven years. well, we didn't real celebrate...yet.

we have dinner reservations at a super fancy place...in october. like the end of october.

seriously. i called at the beginning of september, thinking that it was early enough. nope.

so we'll be celebrating in october.

seven years. it's pretty sweet.

i'm realizing there is a major lack of pictures of brandon and i together. pictures of p and m...no problem...us...major problem. so if you see us together, take our picture, please. so it at least looks like we exist ;)

three months.

(i should probably post this before madalyn is 4 months!)

ahh! where is the time going? madalyn is already 3 months (as of when the pictures taken). she is growing and changing sooo rapidly! 

her new discovery this month were her hands! they are always in her mouth lately.

or she's sticking out her tongue :)

she loves to watch her big brother run around.

she is a talker! in the morning she coos, screeches, giggles to her hearts content!

madalyn loves to roll onto her side (not quite rolling over)

her hair is out of control! long and getting more blond!

two.

well, it's official. parker is two.

we celebrated this kid over and over and over again.

in fact, he asks post-dinner, " special treat, mama? cupcake? me birfday?"

nice try, kid. 

it's been done three times ;)

i attempted our normal photo shoot...

 and failed.

 twice.

we hosted a small bday party once we were back in seattle. i made elmo cupcakes!

 must concentrate on blowing out the candle :)

 cheezzz...this kid. cracks. me. up.

facts about the two year old:

-about 31 pounds

-almost 35 inches tall!

-loves his "blankie" and "smaafer"

-anything to do with cars, trucks, fire engines he's all over it

-can count to 4 (although he did recently count to 13!)

-spell his name "PR parker"
