one month.

wow! madalyn turned one month on the 22nd...time is already flying!

she has fit so perfectly into our lives it's hard to imagine what it was like before....well...i did sleep all night, i remember that :)

anyways, we havent been to the dr since her 2 week appointment so no updates on stats. i do know she is an awesome eater and is growing like crazy! she is almost out of newborn clothes. and her hair! let's take a minute to discuss the hair.

baby deur #2 is here!

madalyn elizabeth arrived may 22 at 12:48pm, weighing in at 7lbs 14oz and 19 3/4" long. she has a full head of dark hair! we are so in love with her! big brother, parker, is slowly warming up to her but always makes sure she's in the car with us by asking "baby?"

due date! 40 weeks

well, today was baby number #2 due date.

i thought it was yesterday but when we went to the doctor today, they said it was today. so confusing since every time i had an ultrasound they thought it might be a different date ;)

anyways, today is the day.

the doctor thought any day...maybe even tonight the baby will arrive!

we are excited and ready!

it might not look like it but the baby has definitely dropped. i finally can feel my ribs again and breathe :) 

i can't believe we are in the final days already! parker and i are keeping busy which helps when you are just waiting! we had quite the busy week...story hour, walks, playing at the park, doctor appointments, more playing outside in the beautiful 80 degree weather, picnics....

and it's not even friday :)

35. 36. 37. weeks.

oh boy. it's getting real now. by the end of the week we'll be at 38 weeks...

meaning this baby will be here soon!!

we are heading into week 34 folks...it's getting real. like oh shoot maybe we should get this baby a bed real. or we'll wait a few weeks ;)

crazy but only 10 weeks before we are a family of four!

baby #2 is quite the mover and shaker!

there is constant movement which is exciting and a bit nuts. laying down for naps and bed can be a little frustrating since the baby thinks its always playtime!

parker has been kicked quite a few times but no reaction from him :)
