one!

one. she's one, people. 

how did this happen?

one moment she was a helpless baby

and now she is a determined, silly little girl.

she gets herself ready for photo shoots now ;) 

 first of two good pictures

 (had about 30 like this)

 not moving but not gunna smile

food- noodles, smoothies, berries, really just food in general!

toys: big brother's cars, balls, the farm, her dolly
loves: to snuggle (but only for a second), rock in the rocking chair, play with parker, sing and dance, eat, climb stairs, and splash in the tub.

can we just recap the past year? as i shed a tear...

10 months!

happy birthday missy moo! we love you so much!

two.

well, it's official. parker is two.

we celebrated this kid over and over and over again.

in fact, he asks post-dinner, " special treat, mama? cupcake? me birfday?"

nice try, kid. 

it's been done three times ;)

i attempted our normal photo shoot...

 and failed.

 twice.

we hosted a small bday party once we were back in seattle. i made elmo cupcakes!

 must concentrate on blowing out the candle :)

 cheezzz...this kid. cracks. me. up.

 yum!

facts about the two year old:

-about 31 pounds

-almost 35 inches tall!

-loves his "blankie" and "smaafer"

-anything to do with cars, trucks, fire engines he's all over it

-can count to 4 (although he did recently count to 13!)

-spell his name "PR parker"

things he says:

"bye. have fun."

"i funny"

"chase me"

"family hug!"

"it's k, baby seester. sweetie mama coming"

"hi baapa."

"oh no pickle"

"way to go patio"

"up. down. round round. all day"

"hockey? touchdown! go pack!"

first birthday party.

yesterday we celebrated parker turning one.

hooray!

we had some folks over to celebrate and eat cake...yum!

 I'm one!!

this was my first attempt at a real cake! it was white chocolate blueberry cake with white chocolate buttercream frosting!

so tasty but whoa! next time i'm going to try and cut down some of the sugar and butter ;)

parker loved it but was super hesistant at first. we had to cut the cake before he would even try it!

it was an awesome day spent celebrating our little guy with friends!
