thanksgiving.

I probably should post this before it's christmas...
so happy thanksgiving, everyone!

we had a great week. grandma and grandpa came to visit so parker and madalyn were busy being spoiled...well we all were :)

we started by heading up to guemes island! it was a sunny and windy weekend! it was great to get away from the seattle area for a bit and enjoy life. we ate great food, relaxed and played!

on monday, we celebrated this guy! happy 30!

brandon and i had a date night!

 we did a lot of fun things...the aquarium, university village, indoor parks, church, celebrated thanksgiving and christmas :)

summer summer summer fun.

we sure did!

this past week, the weather has been AWESOME.

warm, sunny, beautiful.

we had a busy week with a first birthday party, visits to the park, picnic dinner, visitors...

lots of water!

we started our summer fun on tuesday. out here in the pnw summer normally starts after the 4th of july but this year july 1 was pretty warm. like high 80's warm...without air conditioning :/

anyways, we went to j's first birthday party in the evening. lots of fun, naked boys running around, presents, cake. just plain fun.

parker ran around saying "happy jonah" for happy birthday...so cute!

thursday evening we headed over to volunteer park for some playtime and a picnic dinner! we met up with some playgroup buddies. it was a lovely way to start the long weekend.

friday morning we headed over to south lake union for the wooden boat festival! the us coast guard had a huge display of all their tanks and trucks! parker though it was awesome...although he kept calling the tanks "diggers." he even got to throw the football around with some of the guys :)

 we then headed home for naps and the arrival of aunt allysha, uncle andy and lincoln!

we had a cookout with all the mcg cousins...so fun!

part two....super late

hello. i had every intention of completing part two last week but...

we were enjoying our days with daddy (he just went back to work on monday) and spending time relaxing, sleeping, watching the world cup, enjoying playing at the park...

it was a full week :)

so where were we? oh yes, madalyn's first weeks of life!

she has been a wonderful baby! with garth and mary here we were able to get out a lot, which with a newborn could end in disaster ;) she, however, was a rock star and slept, eat and enjoyed all the adventures!

parker was in heaven with all the extra attention. grandpa and grandma were, too!
