baby #2.

poor second child.

probably already has a complex considering the lack of blog posts.

sorry baby #2 it's difficult to focus on you when your older brother is jumping off chairs, running and yelling, and demanding "cheez."

we are super excited for baby #2, coming in may!

this baby, similar to parker, never stops moving and shaking. we may be in trouble ;)

while we are failing at weekly photos we did take one recently!

26 weeks (which was two weeks ago)

hopefully we'll remember to take a photo every two weeks until the end ;)

parker turned nine months monday!

it's unbelievable that 9 months ago we welcome this little guy into our home and hearts

Eight Months!

parker turned 8 months this past saturday!

crazy!!!

here he is :)

parker- you are getting so big! you sit without an asistance. you are starting to pull yourself up! which can really scare your mom...esp. since you try to pull up on things that cant support your weight! you are getting taller...not wider :) you know your name when we call you. you eat! man, do you eat! you eat a big bowl of oatmeal and fruit (sometimes two!) for breakfast, you eat bananas, avocados, carrots, peas, egg yolks, fruits...you love it all! you just started to eat puffs...which you bang you hangs on the tray until you get them! then you gather them in your little hands and look at me for more. we are trying sign language with you...your response is a stare. you like to yell when we walk down the stairs, you giggle when we tickle you, you cry when you get tired. when dad gets home you give him a huge smile and reach your arms out...its the best.

7 months!

parker is seven months (as of wednesday of last week)

time is going super fast!

dear parker,

seven months! wow! you are getting so big, so fast! each day you wake up and call out in your cute voice. it's like you are saying...mom, mom come get me! i'm ready to play! you have two teeth, the bottom two. you have been a super drool baby but have had a good attitude about it. you bite us sometimes to remind us to pay attention to you. you have graduated to be big boy part of the stroller and have outgrown a ton of clothes! you sit up all by yourself and spend a lot of time playing with your toys. you have discovered plastic bottles...love at first grab. you are eating a lot of solid food now. favorites are avocados and apples...yum! you like to stand and hold onto things. i think you would prefer to walk but are trying to crawl. i think you need to work on your arm strength still. you talk and talk and talk...oh and blow bubbles and spit...you are a charmer!

Six Months!!

parker turned 6 months yesterday! crazy how quickly the time has gone!

Parker~ you are getting bigger each day. Every day brings a new expression, new things you notice or learn...you are really becoming a little person. You are often serious, taking in the world around you. You brighten our day with huge smiles, lots of chatter as you play, and wonderful noises you make with your mouth and well...other body parts! You just started to roll over and always look so proud when you flip onto your back. You love your activity center and will play for a long time in it. You just started in your jumper and are not totally sure what its for yet. But we are positive that once you figure it out it will be your favorite toy. You love to chew on everything! Toys, fingers. mom and dad are your favorite things to put in your mouth. No teeth yet but we think soon!  You are becoming quite the little man.

You become an older cousin this month. When we told you about your cousin you smiled as though you completely understood us! I am sure you two will be great friends. You also went on your first airplane this month and did awesome! You were super popular on the flight and smiled at everyone :)

Each day your dad and i are amazed by you and could not see our lives without you.
