hello!

27 weeks, can you believe it? i can't! 

 being silly...i'm not the biggest fan of pictures...but i do enjoy ruining them :)

we have been having AMAZING sunsets lately.

i love it...i just wish that telephone pole was somewhere else

eggs, anyone?

brandon brought home fresh eggs from a lady at work.

two of them are duck eggs...can you guess what ones?

i hope they are yummy!

we are off to portland this weekend with r and c! it should be fun! the weather is supposed to be nice and we have quite the line up of restaurants to visit :) hopefully some food trucks too!

last weekend

we had visitors :)

garth and mary came out on thursday afternoon and stayed til sunday.

the weather was at its finest!

friday, we zipped around town while brandon was at work,

buying the baby some very cute clothes!

ate some delicious food,

and enjoyed an

awesome sunset!

we spent saturday walking greenlake, checking out the stroller scene, 

went to the farmers market for some yummy veggies for dinner and 

of course to check out the flowers!

went stroller shopping (more options than buying a car!)

the trip was short but we loved every moment :)

26 weeks

26 weeks! oh my! its hard to believe we are over half way to having a

baby!

crazy!

originally, i thought it would be fun to do a weekly update but then i was tired, busy and thought the pictures really weren't much fun.

but now the belly is popping out a bit more each week :)

so i am going to try to document this wonderful journey

26 weeks
i have been super worn out...thanks to a blood test i found out that i am super anemic! awesome...iron pills here i come! hopefully they will energize me :) i mean, i love taking three hours naps but goodness there are places to go, things to do, people to see....

this little baby is bouncing all over the place!
its fun to sit on the couch and watch as my stomach goes one way then the next.

this week was the first time someone i didn't know asked if i was expecting!
it was kind of weird...i sort of liked when it was a secret and no one knew.
its fun to share...as long as no stranger tries to touch my stomach! ;)

Its been a while...

we have been BUSY! how about you?

i think every spring/summer is full of fun, lots of activities and plans.

but this year...holy cow! almost every weekend is full!

we have been bouncing around the seattle area so that's why there hasn't been much action on the blog :)

so what have we been up to?

youth group retreat

sleep and more sleep

did you know our freezer is normally full of chicken parts?

yep its awesome...reach in for some ice cream...oh wait! nope its chicken bones!

why you might ask?

because brandon makes his own chicken stock.

it really does taste better than store brought!

did you know you can buy a 50 pound bag of onions for only

five dollars?

yep!

do you know what you can do with a 50 pound bag of onions and chicken stock?

make a whole lot of french onion soup!

allysha and andy come to visit this weekend!

well, andy actually came to interview for a position in richland...

he is probably interviewing as we speak!

hooray!

so richland is just over 3 hours away so they decided to visit brandon and i and chris and melissa (andy's brother and sisiter-in-law)

it was great fun!

we saw the wiener mobile :)

ballard farmers market for some tasty lunch

completed with fresh mini donuts, of course!

sunday dinner with all six of us...thanks bran!

tasty poached eggs, asparagus, proscuttio, and homemade croutons...yum!

after ice skating, errands, church, hockey games,

grocery shopping, cleaning...

brandon decided to make meatballs.

five pounds of meatballs

don't worry, they got cooked and consumed

not all 5 pounds :)

Busy Weekend Ahead!

wow...it has been crazy busy around here!

we have been working long hours,

having fun with yg,

looking at new apartments (no winners yet),

and lots of other stuff.

 

this weekend is yg central :)

tomorrow is ice skating

sunday is a hockey game

 

should be fun!

 

thankful we have monday off and NOTHING planned!
